Awareness is the first and most important step towards confronting and addressing an issue.

Our country sees thousands of people waiting for organ transplants and often dying due to lack of organ donors.
Organ donation, despite being a noble initiative remains a tabooed cause.

Rotaract Club of Young Visionaries organized ANGDAAN-Organ Donation Awareness Seminar with the aim of spreading awareness and encouraging young students about Organ donation.

The club aspires to not just create awareness but also make sure that genuine queries, doubts/questions or myths and misconceptions not be a hindrance to the noble act of organ donation.

The awareness seminar was conducted at Mahavira Senior Model School for the students and teachers on July 04, 2017.

Rtn. Sudip De Sir, Co-Chairman, District Organ & Body Donation, RID 3011 was the guest speaker, who conducted the seminar which was attended by more than 200 students and teachers. An interaction session also took place where Sudip sir interacted with the student and addressed their queries.

Students were encouraged to register as donors (with parental consent) and encourage as well as inspire their parents, family and friends to do the same.
