Rotaract - A Step towards Humanity

" One person can make a difference and everyone should try!" - J. F. Kennedy

This quote beautifully sheds light on the spirit of what Rotaract does.

Rotaract - A word which is quite familiar to majority of the population. The word which fills an individual with a ray of hope that humanity is still alive. Rotaract Clubs are operated by the youth of age 18 years to 30 years under the guidance of their Rotary Clubs and have a vision to serve the needs of the society and make it a better place to live in.

They organize various events which are not limited to just social projects, but also some Exchange Programmes, keeping the essence of National and International Integration alive.

Rotary Clubs sponsor the Rotaract Clubs and also have their own Blood Banks and this ensures the availability of blood of all groups as and when the need arises. Adding to this, the point that makes it an elite success is its presence in more than 200 countries all over the globe.

The Rotaractors not only get a feeling of satisfaction by helping the poor and needy but also learn leadership skills, event management and improve their communication skills too.

Rotary tries to keep a balance between the enjoyment and welfare. It organises events like Rotary Fests, RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) for enjoyment purpose.

Now, talking about the tenure; it is of an year known as Rotary Year wherein the office bearers get their positions changed after an year, the President gets a farewell, and other members get a chance to be on boards.

"Till the time people are learning to help, Rotaract will continue to teach.

A day will come when helping hands would be many, and no needy would be left to preach."

And so, to fulfill this vision and experience such a day, Rotaract continues to serve.
