Health and well-being are major aspects of leading a fulfilling life, keeping this in mind and the fact that that it is our duty as a Rotaract club to work towards the benefit of the society, a free health camp was set up by Rotary Club of Delhi Rendezvous in collaboration with Shanti Sahyog NGO, Kalkaji at the latter’s community Centre on 15th September (Saturday). Eye, dental and diabetes checkups were conducted free of cost for everyone who came. This was done in association with and volunteer aid from the Rotaract club of Young Visionaries. The turnout was in hundreds with over 175 people registered for eye checkup, over 75 for diabetes and over 50 for the dental checkup. Not just consultations, tests and prescriptions, but numerous generic medicines were also distributed to them as per the doctor’s recommendation. The response was overwhelming and this effort was highly appreciated by the people.
