SHASHWAT
Rotaract Club of Young Visionaries organised SHASHWAT, a disease awareness and prevention workshop at SM Jain Modern Senior Secondary School on 6th September on the occasion of International Literacy Day. Shashwat aimed at awaring the students about the symptoms, prevention, effects and home remedies of common diseases. The event was attended by 70 students of 6th, 7th and 8th standard. Rtr. Kompal and Rtr. Aditya explained the concepts to the students through a PowerPoint presentation in a simple and fun way. Pamphlets were also distributed to them, in which the home remedies of the diseases were written. The students listened with great patience. At the end, a small interactive session was conducted in which the students shared what they have learnt and asked their doubts. The response from the students was really great. For encouragement and appreciation, they received small gifts. Then, Shashwat ended on a happy note.
