This quote by Mark Twain beautifully sheds light onto how our event "VARSHAGANATHA: Happy Birthday Bharat" came to life. Our belief in this very quote ensured that a riveting event like this should definitely take place. 

So, in collaboration with Rotaract Club of Ignited Youth, RCYV organized this event on 27th August, 2016 at Prayas Children's Home for Boys, Adarsh Nagar. 

The event commenced with enthusiastic rotaractors decorating the venue for the orphans who were in for a surprise treat. After the decorations were done, the overjoyed kids were welcomed and this was followed by the cake cutting. To the rotaractors, the gleaming smiles on kids' faces were sweeter than the cake to be precise. Next, they were served with some yummy snacks like sandwiches, samosa, chowmein, sweets etc. And now their gleaming smiles had turned into some big, million dollar smiles. They were rejoiced at this special treat. 

After the snacks treat, rotaractors indulged the kids in games and also a talent round. The exuberant kids showed their singing, dancing and recitation talents. And, for their amazing talents, they were given excited gifts. 

Then, rotaractors interacted with the kids and had some mesmerizing, fun talks. The event ended on a happy and warm note.

And after this fascinating experience of an event, it is with pride we can say that Yes! Other people's joy does give a person reasons to smile. And such a smile is unmatched!!
