GREEN HEART

I love visiting gardens and parks whenever I can, last year after 15-August-2017; on Friday 18-August-2017 finally, I got the confirmation email from ICC Young Arbitration Forum India Chapter. I was so excited and immediately book the IRCTC Ticket to Chandigarh (Venue of ICC Young Arbitration Forum India Chapter Event). Unknown too many, this place (Chandigarh) is still untouched by pollution and address of many beautiful gardens like Rose Garden, Japanese Garden, Garden of Springs and so on. Next Morning I was with a bag packed and ready, to go by train to Chandigarh from New Delhi. Around 10:30 A.M. I reached the destination place i.e. Chandigarh. I felt a soft, cold breeze. I explore the road route to The Japanese Garden.

The Japanese Garden dedicated and open to the public Phase wise by Shri Shivraj V. Patil H.E. the Governor of Punjab & Administrator of Chandigarh in presence of Shri H.C. Kalyan, Mayor and Shri Davesh Moudgil, Deputy Mayor on Friday, November 7, 2014 (Phase one) and June 4, 2016 (Phase two). The Japanese Garden is a park located in Sector 31 in the U.T. of Chandigarh and it is open to visitors year-round and consists of water bodies, pagoda towers, waterfalls meditation centre, a Buddha idol and golden bamboos. The highlight, as well as UVP of the Japanese garden, is that this is first ever garden in Chandigarh with Japanese Touch.

My visit to Japanese Garden was an artistic, creative and environment-friendly experience as the garden was so beautiful as well sprawling into many acres including two phases and both the two phases of the park are connected by an underground tunnel decorated by beautiful Japanese Paintings on both sides. The garden is designed using Japanese architecture and each of the elements in the garden is given a unique Japanese Touch.

I encourage all the readers to make a stop at The Japanese Garden to see the first ever garden in Chandigarh with Japanese Touch and interact with your inner Green Heart, nature as well as an ecosystem in Indo-Japanese way.

It was a remarkable experience and lovely tour of Japanese Garden at Chandigarh and at last, I silently said full of environment-friendly green heart goodbye and capture the same in my Smartphone Megapixels Camera as a token of memory from the Garden in the visit.
