"While there is perhaps a province in which the photograph can tell us nothing more than what we see with our own eyes, there is another in which it proves to us how little our eyes permit us to see."

In order to celebrate World Photography Day, Rotaract Club Of Young Visionaries hosted 'Virage: The Online Photography Competition.' This was theme based competition. An overwhelming amount of entries were received by the club. 

Photography is not just an art, it has become a reality in itself. A reality which is so subtle that it seems more real than the reality. A good photograph can breathe life and colour to even the dullest of scenes. A single photo can tell so many different stories, depending on how you perceive it. So, it is only natural that there is a "World Photography Day" on 19 August to celebrate this art. 

This event was a great success and had all the members intrigued by the many photographs we had received from some really talented photographers out there!
